Ghana Embassy and Export Authority Mark First Anniversary with Focus on Sustainable Trade, Launch New Office at Seemer Africa

The Ghana Embassy and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) are celebrating their first anniversary, spotlighting the theme “Sustainable Exports: A Path to Prosperity.” This milestone underscores Ghana's ongoing commitment to promoting sustainable trade practices that can fuel economic growth and enhance the competitiveness of Ghanaian businesses on the global market.

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering trade ties across Africa, GEPA announced the opening of a new trade office at Seemer Africa. The office is designed to serve as a regional hub, enabling Ghanaian businesses to expand their presence in African markets while fostering stronger trade partnerships within the continent.

At the anniversary event, the Ghanaian Ambassador to [Country], His Excellency [Ambassador's Name], highlighted the critical role of sustainable exports in securing long-term economic prosperity for Ghana. “This anniversary marks an important chapter in our journey to elevate Ghana’s export potential. Sustainability is the foundation of our strategy, ensuring that Ghanaian products can thrive in both African and global markets,” the Ambassador said.

New Trade Office in Seemer Africa: The newly established Ghana Trade Office at Seemer Africa will provide crucial support to exporters, streamlining the process of bringing Ghanaian goods to new markets. Additionally, the office will facilitate partnerships with local businesses and trade organizations, furthering Ghana’s role as a leader in sustainable trade across the region.

Labour Cabinet Secretary Florence Bore’s effort to convene a consultative meeting to try and halt a mass gathering of private security guards to demand a minimum monthly salary of KSh30,000 slated for Nairobi on Saturday, March 30 has flopped due lack of attendance by invited stakeholders.
