Dutch Delegation Expected in Kenya Next Week to Explore Investment Opportunities

A Dutch delegation consisting of 17 companies will visit Kenya from September 18th to September 22nd, 2023, with the objective of exploring potential partnerships and investment opportunities in port development and the blue economy.

The Dutch delegation comprises of companies with expertise in port development, dredging, transport and logistics, water engineering, warehousing and distribution. 

This one-week business mission aims to create partnerships for sustainable solutions. It fits within the strategy of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to support improved, sustainable, logistics and infrastructure to benefit regional and international trade. The end goal is to support Kenya in becoming a regional trading hub.

In line with these objectives, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kenya will host a seminar on Monday, September 18th 2023, at Fairview Hotel in Upper Hill.

The seminar's theme is "Partnering for Sustainable Solutions" and will primarily focus on infrastructure development in Kenya and the digitalization of trade.

The chief guest will be Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, Cabinet Secretary for Roads, Transport, and Public Works.
