NCCK Advocates for National Unity and Youth Empowerment Amid Political Unrest

The NCCK's Executive Committee emphasized the need to redefine Kenya’s identity, values, and future, particularly in light of the controversial Finance Bill 2024 and recent incidents of police brutality during demonstrations. During this meeting, the NCCK met with President William Ruto to voice their concerns about the government's handling of public dissent. President Ruto promised to withdraw the Finance Bill 2024, halt police brutality, and avoid deploying the military.
